Purple 53 - Blue 50
Trevor Kuypers and Neil O'Sullivan led the way for Purple with 14 a piece, while Mike Grant leads the way for Blue with 18 points.

Game 2 - Team 'D' DkBlue VS Team 'C' Red
DkBlue 76 - Red 49
Davion Rollocks and Adrian Leclair led the way for DkBlue with 16 points each, and Jay Goulizian leads the way for Red with 17, including a remarkable 1-10 from the Free Throw line.

Maroon 54 - Blue 62
Mike Koolhaas led the way for Green with 16 points, while Matt Refuse had the week 1 high of 25 for maroon in a losing effort.

Final Night of Try Outs for the 2013/2014 Season is Sept 24th

Please note that you must have your $245 paid in full by 8pm to be considered eligible for the draft that will take place at 930pm.

This years Captains are Brent Easton, Chris George, Kevin Eves, Mike Grant, Phil Cousins, and Wayne Menzie.

The Draft will be held at Frosty John's. Results will be released there after the draft is complete.

2013/2014 League Tryouts

This years tryouts will take place at Bowmanville High School, from 7-10pm on September 10th, 17th and 24th.

Rookies are expected to pay prior to stepping on the court. League Fees are $245. This goes towards covering the cost of Referees, Gym Rental, Scorekeepers and Insurance.

Congratulations to Team Green

Team Green are the 2012/2013 Champions after beating Team Blue 64-50 in Game #1 and 53-52 in Game #2.

A reminder to all that the AGM will take place this Saturday at the Village Inn, in Bowmanville. AGM is expected to start around 2pm, or when the Executives drag themselves off of the Golf Course down the road.

Make sure you have submitted your votes to Pres DJ.

Playoff Schedule

Notes:
1. Tournament is Double Elimination. Lose Twice and you are done.
2. As per 2010/2011 AGM GM4 and GM5 will be determined by the higher seed getting the lower seed.
3. If GM5 is won by the losing team GM1 Winner byes to week 3.
4. If GM3 Loser wins GM4/5 and GM8 then GM6 Winner byes to week 5 and a semi-final would take place at 7pm
5. GM8 Winner byes to week 5.
6. If there are 4 teams left in Week 4, we have a semi-final where highest plays lowest

Playoffs Week 1.

Here is how the season will end-up.

In 1st Place is Green, 2nd Place is Blue, 3rd is Winner of tonight's DkBlue/Maroon game, 4th is Loser of tonight's DkBlue/Maroon game, 5th is Purple, 6th is Red.

*Red and Purple could end-up tied tonight if Red beats Purple, but Purple currently owns a 4-0 season record against them, so they would still be 5th.

Which means:

April 23rd 

7pm: Red vs. Green

8pm: Purple vs. Blue

9pm: DkBlue vs Maroon (or) Maroon vs DkBlue

Expect more playoff schedule details soon, as most of you know we use the dreaded Stoopenstein Double Knock-Out aka hard to explain bracket. I can make it simple for you, just win. Lose twice and you go home and tell your wife/girlfriend or parents (I'm looking at you Jay Baker) how the referees robbed you...........

1. The Stats have all been updated with Week 23. Also Week 20 sheets were handed in so those have been added.
2. The AGM will take place on May 25th, 2013.

Update.

I really should have updated this yesterday so nobody would have known for sure if it was a real update or an April Fools prank.

Regardless the site has been updated. Scoresheets for Week 15 and Week 20 have not made there way to me. We know who won those games, but if that was a night you went 'off' for 11 points please don't be upset that it isn't reflected in your stats. Also if you you airballed it one of those weeks at least for the time being it isn't going to be reflected here:

Also, due to Gym Rental limitations this year if we need to play 2 games in the finals there will only be a 5-10 minute break, not the 30 minutes we have used in the past. If you don't like it......tough noogies.
